The Model S ins't anything spcial, but I thought it would make a nice cover photo.
Two older ML63 AMGs like the one pictured above.
Ferrari 360, sounded nice.
Lexus IS F, not the F sport, the actual F.
I'm forgetting a lot, but those were the highlights/interesting-ness of today!

You sir, see too many nice cars.

You must live in a rich town because I have only seen a 360 at a car show and have never seen that lexus.

Not really. Could just be a college town. I saw a DBS, R8 and IS F in one day around campus. Other additions were a Ford GT, Maserati Gran Turismo, GT3 RS 2006, and another Aston, DB9 I think. This is in the shitty small town of Tucson, AZ. Nothing big, not even a big town.

Actually, I have seen 3 different Tesla S cars. It is pretty odd because we have so few exotics, but a few of these.

WTF I live in a crappy small town I see a crap ton of vipers and GT40s but that is it.

I don't really consider the Tesla exotic... Do you have a lot of S Classes and stuff of that nature as well?

See I've only seen one Viper, it was a lipsitck red 2008. Ugh such a beauty. Only one GT40 tho. Saw two Bentleys, only one driven by an elder man, and the other by some college punks.

Not a lot by any means. Most of the Mercs I see are C classes, we have some Porsche, some Ferraris out NE in town. Most of our "exotics" are NSX, Lotus, and 8.7 billion Mustang V6s. What few exotics we have are rarely on the road.
And consider the Tesla exotic, its closer to the median home value here than the average car value.

5 GT40s, 20 Vipers, 1 Bently, 5 Lambos

I saw a Model S today too, at the restaurant I took my wife to breakfast at. The thing is this is a really conservative region and one that's pretty far north too, so electric cars are just not a thing here. I was shocked when I saw it.

I saw a Tesla S today too! Dark blue; such a good looking car

You have more numbers, by a long shot. I guess my town has more variety

The only college near me is a small agricultural one called Delaware Valley College.

Interesting! The median home value around me is around 400k ish. So a Tesla would be about 1/4 the value of the median home value.

Funny, around here a Tesla is like a Prius. So common. Also, someone near me has a white ML63. Sounds pretty good.

My brothers friends have a Model S, it's the one pictured above, actually.

Teslas are cool, but they aren't that exotic around here, either. People just buy them instead of S-classes, which I would't consider exotic.

One of my dad's friends has a Model S and and ML63 AMG. I guess they must offset each other…

Did you just say that what is arguably the most revolutionary car of our generation is "nothing special"?
![]() 04/21/2014 at 09:24 |

Nothing special in the way that I see them often. They are probably the best American production car out there right now.

Which one gets driven more?

I have no idea. He has several cars, and I've seen him in both of those maybe twice.
